Continuous Open BIdding

Statement from CPC:

“Continuous Open Bidding or COB is an informal recruitment process that National Panhellenic Conference sororities use to recruit new members outside of the designated Formal Recruitment period. If you are interested, chapters that choose to add more members following Formal Recruitment may contact you to meet and discuss joining their chapter. The COB process is not a part of Associate Recruitment.”

Depending on the total number of girls in our chapter, we may or may not be participating in Continuous Open Bidding for Spring and Fall Recruitment cycles. If you have any questions please contact Kendall at  frc@gtadpi.org

COB Testimonial:

Being the only person in my family to join Greek life, seeking out sororities was not on my mind when I started at GT. After my first semester of college, I longed for the meaningful, supportive friendships that my hometown friends were so excited about, and I ultimately decided to try out the COB process. I knew very few people on campus as an out-of-state student, but I went to a hot chocolate event at ADPI during the first week of classes and found myself dreading the end of the event as I met so many girls that I could see myself growing close to. I went through the rest of the COB process excited for the opportunity to join such an incredible group of women, and I was welcomed by an amazing Alpha class throughout that first semester.

Two years later, ADPi has become the best part of my college experience. I’ve met my closest friends through Greek life, and I’m spending my junior year living in the house and serving on our Exec board. I’ve seen myself become much more outgoing and confident in myself through the relationships I’ve made in ADPI, and I couldn’t be more excited for the rest of my time in this chapter!
